A genuine image captured on film has a very special attractiveness – let’s find out why!
Our the magic of analogue photography workshop is not a nostalgic look back, but a deliberate rediscovery of the essence of photography. As a participant, you’ll experience why analogue images have an atmosphere all of their own – characterised by organic grain, harmonious tonal values and a colour palette that isn’t artificially created, but arises from the material itself.
Together, we’ll explore the unique properties of analogue films, compare digital and analogue visual worlds, and discuss why limitations often lead to greater creativity. You’ll gain a thorough overview of current film stocks, get to know their characteristics, and learn how negatives can be digitised to a high standard and efficiently today, whilst preserving their analogue qualities.
However, the focus is not on the technology, but on the image: consciously creating photographs that have personality and stand the test of time.
The seminar group is limited to a maximum of 7 participants. Drinks will be provided at freiraum. A 60-minute lunch break is scheduled, which participants are free to spend as they wish.
Each participant will receive a certificate of attendance.

Booking and Registration
Here’s how you can secure a place on your preferred workshop date straight away and with ease:
• Choose a date from our list of available dates (see above). There are still places available for all the dates listed there.
• Send us your name, email address and preferred date, and pay your deposit of 150 EUR via PayPal.
• As soon as we receive your deposit, your place on your chosen date will be reserved for you! We’ll then email you an invoice for the total amount.
• You can cancel up to 10 days before your chosen date. A processing fee of 10 EUR will apply.
• Ahead of your workshop, we’ll get in touch with you with all the important details. The workshop will take place in (almost) all weather conditions.
